Ice Rink

The Ice Rink at Bristol Motor Speedway opens for its fifth season on Tuesday, November 13. In the rink's first three years of operation, it drew more than 100,000 skaters and officials look forward to another successful skating season.

"The Ice Rink at Bristol Motor Speedway has proven to be extremely popular with thousands of individuals both young and old throughout the Tri-Cities region and we expect that popularity to continue growing," said Jeff Byrd, BMS president and general manager. "Skating is a fun and entertaining winter activity the rink brings to the region that didn't exist prior to our initial season in 2002."

Skaters will find the rink located at the Speedway's main entrance just off Hwy. 11E (Volunteer Parkway) near the elevator tower displaying the large " Bristol" signage.

The 60' x 96' rink will open six days a week, Tuesday - Sunday into January. The rink will close Mondays for routine maintenance. Cost for skating is $5. Skate rental costs an additional $2.

Throughout the 2007season, the ice rink will be available for school parties on Thursdays and private parties on Saturdays and Sundays.
