A guide to making the most of your "Bristol Experience"
As I drove by the line of campers [already] staged trackside last weekend, it served as another indication that race week is coming. Ah heck, who am I kidding? It’s already here!
Seeing those fan-filled campers not only remind me how passionate you are about Bristol, but also that many of you will call Bristol home until the IRWIN Tools Night Race, some 17 days away.
Since many of you stay for an extended period, we know you look for “things to do” during your visit. We are blessed to live in a beautiful region where nature provides many opportunities that include local lakes, the Appalachian Mountains and various hiking trails. By the way, you should take the time to check out our area attractions page.
In conjunction with the opportunities our environment provides, our guests also have quite a few entertainment opportunities in the immediate area – especially during Race Week. While we have countless activities at here on BMS property, there are other happenings around the track and in neighboring cities. As a visitor to the area, it can prove challenging to know what’s going on.
To help remedy that, our team worked tirelessly to compile a list of the activities happening in and around our community leading up to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series IRWIN Tools Night Race. We call it the “Everything August Activity and Entertainment Guide.” While we know other events will pop up on our radar, we’ll try our best to constantly update the schedule to reflect the new additions to keep you up to speed.
We strive to exceed the expectations of guests regardless of the occasion. While much of your time will be spent attending racing activities, we know that your “Bristol Experience” is much more than that. Many of you will tell us about the memorable moments you share with your family and friends outside the track so we’re trying our best to provide all the opportunities we can to make your stay the best it can be!
As always we can’t wait to welcome each of you back to Bristol. If there is anything we can do to “Exceed the Expectations” you have, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, or any of my fellow Team Bristol members… Which reminds that another area you should check out is our BMS Contacts Page.
It’s time and we look forward to seeing you. Yep... It’s Bristol Baby!
