Christmas is behind us, and we've started a New Year. Even more exciting, we're ready for a new race season! I hope Santa was good to everyone, and that he remembered to slip a few tickets to Thunder Valley in your stocking!

 

 

My Christmas was great.  I enjoyed spending time with family and friends and I hope you were able to do the same. Also, after scrimping and saving for quite some time, I finally was able to give myself a Christmas gift…a new sim-racing cockpit!

For a several years, each time I received a little extra money for birthdays, Christmas, etc., I would put it away in my sock drawer (no, seriously) until I had saved enough. This year, I reached the goal and ordered the set-up (with my wife’s permission, of course).

Now, I spend way too much time playing, but there is nothing like seeing how fast you can get around the high-banks of the World’s Fastest Half-Mile. The crew at Eutechnyx has developed a pretty cool console game called NASCAR The Game 2011. It has kept me entertained since I purchased it, and I hear they already are going full out to get their next version of the game ready... I can’t wait.

If that isn’t enough, Eutechnyx thought one track above all others showcased the excitement, speed and thrills of NASCAR and decided to put it on the cover. Do you need a hint? I didn’t think so! BMS is featured prominently with the whole pack screaming through turns one and two.

When we looked at the cover and thought about the capabilities of Eutechnyx, we started thinking of ways to incorporate them into our future projects. Our new advertising campaign will debut in a couple of weeks. As part of the campaign, you will see some amazing graphical elements included from the group at Eutechnyx.
