The Sprint Cup boys ran the first “competition” race of the 2013 season Saturday night behind the wheels of the new Gen-6 cars. All I can say is watch out! When they unleash those new cars on the high banks of Bristol in just four short weeks, who knows what’s going to happen? Giving is a year-round opportunity

Tuesday, December 25, 2012

Christmas, and the holiday season, is a great time of year to be reminded of how wonderful it is to give. I’m sure you experienced it before and on Christmas Day, and likely will experience it throughout the New Year. Let us all remember that the opportunity to give abounds year-round.

That’s a sentiment Bristol Motor Speedway takes very seriously.

It’s been warm here in east Tennessee this summer. Real warm. Perhaps it's similar to what you've experienced in "your neck of the woods" as Al Roker might say. But as we progress through the summer months, one certain feeling begins to permeate the air. You know what I'm talking about... August is coming. THE Night Race is coming. It's almost race time in Tennessee.

This past weekend many of my colleagues and I spent time at our sister track in Charlotte, N.C. talking with our amazing fans and sponsors.   We spent most our time introducing fans to our newest team member, the Thunder Bus.  The Thunder Bus is a 40’customized RV, a rolling Bristol experience that provides us the perfect opportunity to witness something that never ceases to amaze us: your kindness.

Yeah, It Is Personal.

By Drew Bedard

A little more than a week ago we welcomed our family back home to Bristol. Our team worked as hard as ever to put on a great show, a race week that made Bristol fans proud. Why? Because it’s personal. It’s because we care.
