Race fans who visit Autotrader.com Speedway In Lights Nov. 20-24 at Bristol Motor Speedway will not only take part in the country's most spectacular holiday show but they also will have the opportunity to see the Subway show car.
The Subway car, driven by Tony Stewart at several NASCAR Sprint Cup events this year, will be in Subway Christmas Village for five nights. Visitors to Autotrader.com Speedway In Lights may have their photos taken with the car.
Anyone making a stop in Subway Christmas Village during any of those evenings may also register to win memorabilia autographed by Stewart, a two-time Sprint Cup champion. A grand prize drawing, which consists of a Stewart autographed hat and poster, along with a pair of Sharpie MINI 300 and Pole Day tickets to the March 20-21, 2009 events, also will take place. Winners will be selected Nov. 25 and will be notified that day.
Additionally, anyone presenting a Subway receipt Nov. 20-24 will receive $2 off the admission price to Speedway In Lights.
Proceeds from Speedway In Lights, now in its 12th season, benefit the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities, a non-profit foundation dedicated to distributing funds to qualified children's charities. Funds from the foundation directly aid children in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. To date, Speedway Children's Charities has raised in excess of $4.5 million for area agencies.
Tickets for Speedway In Lights, open nightly 6-10 p.m., Nov. 14-Jan. 3, are available at the BMS gate. Ticket prices for cars are $10 Sunday through Thursday, and $12 Friday and Saturday. Activity van tickets are $15 each night and bus tickets are $65 each night.
