Need your input on our Sharpie 500 TV spot
NEW - Adjust Font Size:

* this post will be removed at noon on June 25.
* thanks for taking your time to share your thoughts with us

Fred Hayter is a race fan.  More importantly (to us), he's a Bristol fan... So much of a Bristol fan that he hasn't missed a premier (NASCAR Grand National, Winston Cup, NEXTEL Cup, Sprint Cup) series race here since the gates opened in 1961.

We thought his story would be worth sharing in our 30-second TV spot to promote ticket sales for the August 22nd running of the Sharpie 500 here at "The World's Fastest Half-Mile."

We've viewed this first cut of the spot here in the offices at BMS, but we also realize that the real opinion that counts is your opinion... the voice of race fans. After all, this spot is intended for fans. And for those who have never witnessed Bristol's August spectacular, we hope it attracts them to buy tickets and experience Bristol.

To that end, let us know what you think. After you view the spot, please share your answers to these two questions, and also feel free to add any other commentary you wish to include.

1) What emotions/feelings does this spot evoke when you view it?

2) Will this spot help sell Sharpie 500 tickets (why or why not)?
