Busch Notches Second Weekend Win
Kyle Busch started from the top spot Friday night and when the smoke cleared inside the Last Great Colosseum, he'd added a sixth Nationwide victory to his Bristol resume.
It was a near flawless performance in the Food City 250 that earned Busch his second win of the weekend.
"It comes from preparation, it comes from the shop, it comes from practice here," said the six-time Bristol Nationwide winner. "It was a lot of fun tonight. It's cool when you can start up front, lead laps like that, but yet have some battles with holding off the 22 (Brad Keselowski) and having to pass the 32 (Kyle Larson) - just a fun day."
The 250 lap event not only had its battles, but also saw its share of controversy.
"I don't know what the 19 was thinking," he said. "He just drove over us and wrecked us for no reason. He's a lap down, I'm running 11th and I don't really know what he was trying to accomplish."
