Showing appreciation to the United States military has always been paramount at Bristol Motor Speedway, as evidenced by the focus on our heroes during pre-race ceremonies.

BMS fans too are interested in letting the military know just how much they value their sacrifices and service to our country and are always looking for ways in which to honor them. To that end, Bristol Motor Speedway now offers fans the opportunity to do something special for military members in return for all they do.

Fans now are able to help send a military member to the IRWIN Tools Night Race by making a donation toward the purchase of a ticket for the Aug. 25 Sprint Cup race at BMS.

Helping put a serviceman or woman in the grandstands at BMS can be done by calling the ticket office toll free at 866.415.4158 and making a donation. Donations will be accepted in increments of $25.

Tickets purchased by fans will be distributed through the United Service Organizations to active military members.

The August race week at BMS kicks off Aug. 22 with a doubleheader, which features the Volunteer 200 Camping World Truck Series race and the UNOH Perfect Storm 150 Whelen Modified event. On tap Aug. 24 is the Food City 250 Nationwide Series race, followed by the IRWIN Tools Night Race Sprint Cup event Aug. 25.

Tickets are available for the IRWIN Tools Night race, starting at $75 while tickets for the Food City 250 start at $45. An August race weekend package, which includes a ticket to the IRWIN Tools Night Race and the Food City 250, starts at $110. A doubleheader ticket for Wednesday night’s Camping World Truck Series race and the UNOH Perfect Storm 150 is available for $30.

Food City 250 tickets for children 15 and under are available at half price, starting at $22. Entry for children 12 and under is free for Wednesday night’s doubleheader.
