The IRWIN Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway always pays big dividends for fans looking for the unique offering of racing experiences; but this time, the Aug. 27 event also will offer up a different kind of payoff – in the form of cash and a car.

Two special promotions give fans the chance to win $1 million, while another will see someone walk away with the keys to the BMS 50th anniversary golden Ford Mustang.

The IRWIN Tools Thank A Tradesman Sweepstakes puts $1 million in the pocket of someone should Jamie McMurray, who finished third in last year’s IRWIN Tools Night Race, take the checkered flag Aug. 27.

In addition to the $1 million grand prize, the sweepstakes winner receives the "Pole Position" grand prize that includes an exclusive VIP race weekend for two at BMS in 2012. Irwin provides "behind-the-scenes" access to Bristol Motor Speedway's pit and garage area, round-trip air transportation, luxury RV accommodations at the track, and two days of exclusive at-track hospitality for the IRWIN Tools Night Race, as well as the Food City 250 Nationwide series event.

Five qualifiers earn prize packages as well. They include two grandstand tickets to both the IRWIN Tools Night Race and the Food City 250, hotel accommodations for three nights, and an Irwin tool bag packed with an assortment of Irwin tools valued at $250.

The Sprint Summer Showdown puts a total of $3 million on the line for a fan, driver and the driver’s charity. Any driver who wins the IRWIN Tools Night Race – and any of the four preceding Sprint Cup races – will become a finalist for the $3 million payout on Labor Day weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway. If one of the winners from BMS, Michigan, Watkins Glen, Pocono and Indianapolis also wins at AMS, the driver and a fan will win $1 million each and $1 million will go to the driver’s favorite charity.

Fans can enter each week by picking which driver they believe will win at sprint.com/speed or by visiting the Sprint Experience display.

When they enter, fans will have access to expert picks, driver performance history at each track and more to give them the best chance of submitting a winning entry. After each week’s race, one race fan will be randomly chosen from those fans that correctly picked that week’s winning driver.

The lucky fan chosen after each race will enjoy an all-expenses paid trip to Atlanta Motor Speedway and be there in person to see whether his or her driver can win at AMS.

Registration for the Bristol Golden Giveaway started during the March race week at BMS and continued through July 30. Three lucky fans have been chosen for the chance to win the official Bristol Motor Speedway 50th Anniversary Edition Ford Mustang pace car, valued at more than $44,000. The three finalists will attend the pre-race show for the IRWIN Tools Night Race and each will receive a key. The fan with the key that starts the pace car, which will have led the field for all NASCAR events at the World’s Fastest Half-Mile in 2011, will drive it home.

The three finalists also win a trip to Bristol Motor Speedway for both the Food City 250 Nationwide Series race Aug. 26 and the Aug. 27 IRWIN Tools Night Race, along with suite, pit and parking passes for the weekend and BMS 50th anniversary merchandise.

Tickets are available for all four upcoming night races at Bristol Motor Speedway. Fans can enjoy both the IRWIN Tools Night Race and the Food City 250 for as little as $99. Should they be in town for the Wednesday night doubleheader, fans can take in all four races under the lights in packages starting at $129.

Single-event tickets for Saturday’s IRWIN Tools Night Race start at $90 while ticket prices for the Food City 250 begin at $45. Wednesday night doubleheader tickets for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 200 and the UNOH Perfect Storm 150 are $25 in advance of the race and $30 Aug. 24.

Parents also can take advantage of reduced ticket prices for children as kids 12 and under can watch the Food City 250 for only $10 while children in that age bracket will be admitted free to the Wednesday night doubleheader.
