TitanRoof Joins BMS Team as Sponsor of Whelen Modified Race
When an entitlement sponsorship became available on one of the most exciting races of the year at an iconic motorsports facility, Bristol Motor Speedway officials found a partner not only in their home state, but with one where a relationship already existed.
Based in Murfreesboro, Tenn., TitanRoof is the roofing company of record when it comes to placing and maintaining the protective surface on top of the nearly 200 suites at the World's Fastest Half-Mile. When UNOH, the University of Northwest Ohio, shifted its sponsorship of the event to the second race of the evening, the UNOH 200, putting its name on the 150-lapper for the NASCAR open-wheel machines just made sense for Titan executives.
"We already had a fantastic business relationship with Bristol Motor Speedway," said TitanRoof President Brandon Liggett. "To be able to sponsor such a dynamic event at one of the most recognizable facilities in the world is a great opportunity to take that partnership to another level. Best of all for us and our employees, when folks see those great night-time aerial shots of BMS, they will know that is our product on the roof of that place."
BMS Executive Vice President and General Manager Jerry Caldwell said adding a company like TitanRoof to the sponsor lineup fits perfectly with the BMS system.
"Our sponsors are partners and friends," Caldwell said. "We have enjoyed some of those relationships for 15 or 20 years and to be able to take an existing partnership to another level like this works for Titan and us."
