0 – Then number of drivers who finished in the top five in the IRWIN Tools Night Race last August who were able to duplicate that feat in Sunday’s Food City 500.

.023 – The margin of victory in Saturday’s Jeff Foxworthy’s Grit Chips 300 between winner Kyle Busch and second-place finisher, rookie Kyle Larson. That’s, like … really close.

1 – The number of drivers barely old enough for a driver’s license to earn a pole for a race at Bristol Motor Speedway last week … 16-year-old Michael McGuire of Vinton, Va., blistering the track with a sub 16-second lap at 120.694 mph.

2 – The number of former teammates who are not on each other’s Christmas card list. … Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano were not pleased with each other during or after (and apparently before) Sunday’s Food City 500.

3 – The finishing position of defending NASCAR Sprint Cup champ Brad Keselowski in Sunday’s Food City 500 who won the event a year ago.

4 -- The number of cylinders in the Ford Global Rallycross car that Tanner Foust drove in tire-burning circles during pre-race to promote the July 20 event at BMS

6 – The number of different drivers who led at least 50 laps in Sunday’s Food City 500

6 – Also the number of times Kasey Kahne led Sunday’s race

7 – The number of platinum albums recorded by The Charlie Daniels Band who played the pre-race concert before Sunday’s race.

10 – The number of Bristol Motor Speedway guests who won Mustangs in pre-race ceremonies Sunday.

18 – The combined number of times (again an estimate) Jeff Foxworthy and Charlie Daniels said y’all in their press conferences. I love the South.

179 – The number of people (that is an estimate, it could have been higher) who shouted at the namesake grand marshal of Saturday’s Jeff Foxworthy’s Grit Chips 300, “Hey Jeff, I’ve got a story for ya!” “You wouldn’t believe what my uncle did!” or some variation thereof. (There apparently are a LOT of crazy uncles out there).

925 – The number of laps of competitive racing fans saw this past weekend.

Tens of thousands – The number of people we hope who left wondering how long it is until the next NASCAR weekend at Bristol.

See y’all in August.
