In a toast to the thousands of college football and country music fans headed for Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) Sept. 10, Anheuser-Busch is brewing up stages full of stars and fan zones filled with signature American lagers for the Pilot Flying J Battle at Bristol.

BMS and Anheuser-Busch popped the top on the news today, revealing Bud Light's new status as the official domestic beer of the Pilot Flying J Battle at Bristol. As part of the sponsorship, Bud Light will present country music stars Sam Hunt, Jon Pardi, Dalton & the Sheriffs, and Alyssa Micaela on Saturday, Sept. 10. Existing ticket holders will have access to the concerts at no additional charge.

"When you're headed to a tailgate, you always ask two questions: 'Who's got the beer?' and 'Who's bringing the music?'" said Jerry Caldwell, executive vice president and general manager of Bristol Motor Speedway. "When Bud Light is the answer, you know your fans are about to experience a high-quality, well-crafted event. We're delighted to welcome Anheuser-Busch to the party, and can't wait to see our guests rocking with Sam Hunt and Jon Pardi."

In addition to the concerts, Anheuser-Busch's presence will include two sizeable on-site fan attractions. The Bud Light Down South Tailgate Tour will debut the ultimate college football tailgate experience at the Pilot Flying J Battle at Bristol, making its first of 11 stops this college football season. Highlights include a climate-controlled bar with ice-cold Bud Light, luxury tour bus with roof deck, food trucks and traditional tailgate games. Additionally, Anheuser-Busch will bring fans the Budweiser Country Club, an open-air, three-level buildout featuring elevated views, two 20-foot bars and Budweiser Signature Draught towers. Both attractions are brand-new in 2016, and are appearing at top festivals and games across the nation this year.

"Bud Light continues its mission to bring people together for fun, over ice-cold beer and great music experiences, and we are excited to combine country music with college football in Bristol this September," said Colleen Kelly, marketing director. "We love the energy surrounding the Pilot Flying J Battle at Bristol and are excited to partner with BMS to further enhance the game day experience for fans on both sides of this historic matchup."

Fueling the pre-game fervor is a series of Saturday concerts presented by Bud Light and headlined by country artist Sam Hunt. Hunt's debut album, "Montevallo," blends R&B, pop and country in a mix that has landed multiple burners on the Billboard charts. Top songs on the Hot 100 and Hot Country lists include "Take your Time," "House Party," "Leave the Night On," and "Breakup in a Small Town," tunes that are packed with aggressive dance beats, explosive choruses, and stereotype-crushing success. Now certified double platinum, "Montevallo" has scored Hunt a number of accolades, including an American Music Award, CMT Music Award, and a Grammy nomination.

"Sam Hunt is the perfect artist to showcase the crossover nature of this game," said Caldwell. "We're transforming an iconic NASCAR track into a premium college football field, pulling fans from both worlds together for a massive celebration, and Hunt is proof of what happens when you combine the energy and appeal of great traditions. Plus, with his background in college football, he'll be right at home in the middle of our celebrations."

Also playing Saturday afternoon on the Bud Light Stage is Jon Pardi. Pardi's sound is undeniably country, and his laid back, fun-loving approach towards life comes through in his music and his raucous live show where the California native's charisma and authenticity strike a chord with country audiences. Pardi's second album, "California Sunrise," debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Country Albums chart and has snagged the attention of Rolling Stone magazine, The Tennessean and NASH Country Daily, which all named it one of the best country albums of 2016. "California Sunrise" contains Pardi's sing-along smash hit, "Head Over Boots," which is currently Top 5 on Billboard's Hot Country chart.

Rounding out the performances are two up-and-coming talents: Dalton & the Sheriffs and Alyssa Micaela, who are Bud Light ambassadors. Dalton & the Sheriffs is a five-piece country band out of Boston with members Brian Scully, Jon Silva, James Zaner, Steve Baker, and Sam Bouve. They are currently on tour in support of their sophomore release, "Heart on a Sleeve." The mixtape features the single "Flying Down a Backroad," which cracked the iTunes Top 200 for country singles.

Alyssa Micaela is a 24-year-old, Odessa, Texas native whose new single, "Getaway Car," has over 3 million plays on Spotify. She was CMT's New Artist Spotlight in June and July, and has a second single debuting this August. Alyssa has been on the road this summer with Willie Nelson, Cam and the Eli Young Band.

"Bristol is known around the world as the Birthplace of Country Music, and it's great to see how artists like Sam Hunt and Jon Pardi are continually evolving the genre," said Caldwell. "We're grateful to Bud Light for bringing these talented musicians to celebrate with our fans and look forward to seeing them all at the Last Great Colosseum."
