In celebration of their partnership extension with Bristol Motor Speedway, Food City officials announced Thursday the "+1 Program" as a way to thank race fans who have loyally supported the company's 23-year foray into motorsports.

Through the history-making program, Food City is gifting all current BMS account holders with Food City 500 tickets with one additional ticket to the March 16 race.

"At Food City, we are committed to providing value to our customers and we are grateful they give back to by choosing to shop our stores and supporting the Food City 500," said K-VA-T President and CEO Steve Smith. "The +1 Program allows our 14,000 employees to express their gratitude to every Food City 500 ticket holder and adds value to their current ticket. In turn, it gives those ticke tholders the opportunity to pass on that thanks to an important individual in their life by giving them the Bristol experience."

Now through March 1, Food City 500 account holders can reserve their +1 ticket by logging on to and entering their information including BMS account number, guest information and preferred seating area for their guest. After submission, the identified guest receives information from Bristol Motor Speedway regarding ticket retrieval.

Current account holders can reserve one ticket per account while supplies last. Complimentary ticket holders are not guaranteed a seat in their preferred area, but officials will make every effort to accommodate their request.
