The region's most dazzling holiday light show returns to Bristol Motor Speedway and Dragway. Food City Speedway In Lights, Powered by TVA, is a 4-mile trek through 3 million lights and the chance to take a lap around "The World's Fastest Half-Mile." Holiday light seekers will circle the concrete oval as part of their festive drive and also may visit the Christmas Village, which returns to its popular infield location.

Fast Lane presented by TeleOptics

Want to skip the wait on busy nights at Speedway In Lights?! Grab a ticket to the FAST LANE presented by TeleOptics. This option allows guests the quickest access to go to the front of the line.

  • Passes are PER VEHICLE, not per individual in the vehicle.
  • Normal Speedway in Lights traffic will be turning immediately right, while FAST LANE purchasers will proceed straight ahead to the ticket booth. Since normal traffic flow will be going right, you will need to inform the traffic attendant that you need to go straight ahead to the FAST LANE.
  • FAST LANE is only available on certain nights and must be purchased for a specific 30 minute entry time slot. Time spent going through lights will vary depending on flow of traffic. Each of these 30 minute time slots has a limited number of spaces.

Speedway in Lights FAQ

What are the best days to come?

Weeknights, specifically Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Those nights see the lightest traffic. The weekend nights and nights leading up to Christmas day see the most traffic.

Is there a radio station I can listen to?

Yes, while on property tune into 100.9 FM for all your holiday favorites!

Can I stop and take pictures?

For the enjoyment of all of the guests, we ask that you do not stop your car once in the show (past the ticket booths). Stopping can cause back ups and can create a poor experience. Please keep a minimum speed of 3 MPH at ALL TIMES!

Also, there are opportunities for pictures (including pictures with Santa) in our Christmas Village.

Are there any coupons to save money?

Absolutely, here on our webpage there are coupons for Monday - Thursday so you can take advantage of some savings!

Is there a way to get through faster on busy nights?

Absolutely, it's called our "Fast Lane" and you can purchase passes right here on the webpage. Go to the "Fast Lane" section for pricing and nights available.

Can I pay with Credit Card?

Yes. On-site ticket booths will accept any major credit card, Apple/Google Pay, or cash as payment.

What is in the Christmas Village and where is it located?

The Christmas village is in the infield at Bristol Motor Speedway and houses rides, the Mega Slide, concessions, vendors, pictures with Santa and more! (FYI - Tickets to the rides and the Mega Slide are available for additional purchase)

What if there is bad weather?

We try to always be open but if there is inclement weather that would make the experience not enjoyable for our guests, we will post that news on the BMS website and the Bristol social media channels.
