The largest Super Chevy Show in the country, highlighted by the Beef O'Brady's Thunder Valley Mayhem presented by Thompson Metal Services, will provide plenty of thrills for every type of hot-rodding enthusiast at Bristol Dragway, Sept. 30-Oct. 2.

The popular Super Chevy Show, visiting Bristol Dragway for the 36th consecutive year, is known to showcase some of the most exciting bracket and exhibition racing in the region. Add the Beef 'O' Brady's Thunder Valley Mayhem to the weekend mix on Saturday, Oct. 1, and this event literally offers something for everyone.

"This race has evolved into the largest Super Chevy Show in the nation," said Brandon Cross, Bristol Dragway director. "With more than 200 swap meet vendors, 200 show cars and 400 race cars it really has become an awesome event for the super-loyal Chevy devotees. The entire weekend is hard to beat for any hot-rodding enthusiast looking for some quality entertainment at a great value."

At Saturday's Beef O'Brady's Thunder Valley Mayhem presented by Thompson Metal Services, fans should prepare themselves for the ultimate family evening of entertainment. With racing sessions scheduled for 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., fans will be amazed by some extremely quick machines, and be provided with plenty of edge-of-your-seat excitement. Several of the nation's coolest Pro Mods, Jet Cars and Wheelstanders will provide fast racing action on the dragstrip.

The fan experience will be intensified when the Team FMX freestyle bikes soar high in the sky, the fire-breathing and car-eating Megasaurus devours a sedan, and a spectacular fireworks display will light up the sky to put an exclamation point on the evening of fun.

Attendees will have plenty of activities to keep them busy throughout the weekend. Bracket racers will flock to Thunder Valley to take part in exciting racing action and fans will get to see a spectacular selection of some of the region's best classic and modern Chevrolets. The faithful Chevy bow-tie brigade will be impressed with the attention to detail given to these show machines.

Anyone interested in locating new products for their restoration project will want to visit the performance and restoration marketplace. If that hard-to-find used part is nowhere to be found, the car corral and used parts swap meet is definitely the place to go.
