BRISTOL, Tenn. (Sept. 15, 2016) - The Speedway Children's Charities 50/50 Raffle presented by Grand Home Furnishings is in the books with the winning ticket identified this past weekend.

SCC officials drew the winning raffle ticket (No. 2615) during the third quarter of the Pilot Flying J Battle at Bristol, the world's largest college football game ever. The winner, a resident of Kingsport, Tenn., will receive more than $80,000 with SCC also raising more than $80,000 for area children.

"We are so blessed and thankful for everyone who participated in the SCC 50/50 Raffle presented by Grand Home Furnishings," said Claudia Byrd, executive director for SCC. "This was an outstanding way to support local kids in the region and win a prize at the same time."

To begin the new fiscal year, SCC will host with The Pinnacle Speedway in Lights, one of the largest drive through Christmas light displays in the country. The event, which features visits with Santa Claus and a fully decorated Christmas Village presented by Eastman Credit Union, will open on November 18 and run through January 7.
