The Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities has been selected as the Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving recipient for March 2021, it was announced recently. It is the ninth consecutive year that Bristol Motor Speedway’s chapter of the children’s charity organization has been selected as the recipient of the Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving.

As part of the month-long program, patrons who visit any of the eight Jersey Mike’s locations in the Tri-Cities for lunch or dinner can make a donation of $1, $2 or $5 that will benefit Speedway Children’s Charities. On Wednesday, March 31, during Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving, all sales from that day at each Tri-Cities store will go directly to Speedway Children’s Charities.

During the past eight years, Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving has donated nearly $100,000 to SCC and the program has become a critical component in the Bristol chapter’s effort of providing help to children in need in Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee.

“We are so blessed to once again be included in Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving,” said Claudia Byrd, executive director of the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities. “Partnerships like this one are essential to helping our chapter raise the funds necessary to continue to assist the agencies and children in our region.”
