NASCAR announced the 2022 race start times and television networks for all three of its major touring series today, which includes the two NASCAR Cup Series races scheduled at Bristol Motor Speedway, the historic Food City Dirt Race in primetime on Easter weekend in April and the Bass Pro Shops Night Race playoff thriller, also under the lights in September.

The Food City Dirt Race, which brings the NASCAR Cup Series back to its dirt roots, will take the green flag at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 17, and will be televised live on FOX with live radio coverage on PRN Radio and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.

The Bass Pro Shops Night Race, the first cut-off race in the Round of 16 in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, will also be held under the lights with a green flag start set at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17. The 500-lap race that will trim the Playoff field from 16 to 12 drivers will air on NBC Universal-owned USA Network, PRN Radio and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.

“We are thrilled that the Food City Dirt Race is going to air in primetime on FOX on Easter Sunday night,” said Jerry Caldwell, executive vice president and general manager, Bristol Motor Speedway. “As usual we will expect lots of exciting racing during the Bass Pro Shops Night Race playoff elimination race under the lights in September as that race will be telecast on USA Network.”

Start times and television networks for the three Bristol support races in 2022 also were announced today. The Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt featuring the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be held under the lights with an 8 p.m. ET start on Saturday night April 16, and will be broadcast live on FS1, MRN Radio and Sirius XM Radio.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series’ only visit to BMS in 2022 will be the Food City 300, held on Friday night, Sept. 16 with a 7:30 p.m. ET green flag. The thrilling regular season finale for the Xfinity Series will be broadcast live on USA Network, PRN Radio and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.

The Camping World Trucks will return to BMS in the fall and will compete in a critical round of their Playoffs during the UNOH 200 presented by Ohio Logistics on Thursday night, Sept. 15 at 9 p.m. ET with television coverage provided by FS1 and radio coverage by MRN Radio and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.
