As fans flock to Bristol Motor Speedway to witness the best short track racing there is, singer/songwriter Travis Denning will headline the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race pre-race concert at The Last Great Colosseum on Saturday, Aug. 17.

Denning will take to the stage prior to NASCAR driver introductions for America's Night Race. Known for donning his signature Bass Pro Shops cap for every performance, Denning will get fans pumped up as they prepare to see short track racing at its best under the lights.

"Travis Denning is a rising star within the country music scene with a passion for the outdoors, making him the perfect fit to perform at the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race," said Jerry Caldwell, executive vice president and general manager of Bristol Motor Speedway. "There's nothing like the energy of America's Night Race and Denning will get the party started with his original music and signature style."

"I've always loved watching races at Bristol because it's in your face, up close and as personal as it gets. It's unreal to think that I'll actually be playing at Bristol Motor Speedway," said Denning.  "I'm ready to get on down to East Tennessee and help get the pre-race festivities started with all the fans at America's Night Race."

Denning's debut single "David Ashley Parker from Powder Springs" hit the Top 40 charts in 2018. The song harkens back to Denning's days as a youth and his escapades of using David Ashley Parker's ID as his own. The Georgia native's recently released single, "After A Few" is currently climbing the country radio charts.

While supplies last, Denning fans have two options to see the singer/songwriter at Bristol.

Current Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race ticket holders may add on a Pre-Race Pit Stop pass and be stage-side (on the track) for the concert featuring Travis Denning. The Pre-Race Pit Stop also includes track access for driver introductions. For more information, visit http://bit.ly/2Q0bAef
