Tickets are on sale now for the 25th anniversary edition of the fan-favorite Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at historic Bristol Dragway, June 12-14, 2026, and fans who renew or purchase their tickets before September 26 will save money and receive a commemorative gift.
NHRA announced its 2026 season schedule today and the tradition-rich event at legendary Bristol Dragway is the 9th of 20 events in next year’s NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. NHRA is celebrating its milestone 75th anniversary season in 2026, and among the many celebratory activities planned throughout the season, NHRA is kicking off the year with a very special offer for fans who renew or purchase new tickets before September 26.
Those who take advantage of the limited-time offer will receive a special edition NHRA 75th Anniversary replica championship ring. The beautiful ring, which every NHRA collector will want front and center in their display cabinet, resembles the official championship ring that will be given to the 2026 NHRA World Champions. The silver replica, which glitters and shines just like the real thing, features the NHRA 75th Anniversary logo on top, a tribute to NHRA Founder Wally Parks on one side and the Mission Drag Racing Series logo on the other side.
Due to calendar rotations, the Bristol NHRA national event weekend will be held one week later in 2026, on June 12-14, but remains in its traditional spot as the weekend before Father’s Day weekend.
The NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series is headlined by jaw-dropping performances by the ultra-powerful Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars, as they routinely post performances in the 330-mph zone, covering 1,000-foot distances on the dragstrip in less than four seconds.
Motorsports icon Tony Stewart, who has won NASCAR and IndyCar championships and NHRA national event titles, is among the star drivers in the Top Fuel category, along with Antron Brown, Brittany Force, Clay Millican and Tony Schumacher.
In Funny Car, eight-time Bristol winner Ron Capps leads the way in that 12,000-horsepower class where his rivals are Austin Prock, Jack Beckman, Alexis DeJoria, Cruz Pedregon and Matt Hagan, among others.
The Bristol race weekend will include two pro qualifying sessions each on both Friday and Saturday culminating with the quickest 16 machines in each pro class filling the brackets for final eliminations on Sunday.
As always, every ticket is a pit pass, as fans are invited into the NHRA pro pits to watch the teams service their race cars between rounds. On Saturday evening, Bristol fans are treated to a massive driver autograph session in the pits at the conclusion of nitro qualifying. Prior to Sunday’s eliminations, there is a special fan track walk, pre-race ceremonies with driver introductions and the Legend of Thunder Valley presentation. After the race, fans are also encouraged to celebrate in the NHRA Winner's Circle.
Tickets are available by calling Bristol Dragway at 866-415-4158 or click here to purchase your tickets online. For more information, please visit the NHRA website by clicking here.
