Play will resume for the MLB Speedway Classic presented by BuildSubmarines.com on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at baseball-transformed Bristol Motor Speedway.
The historic MLB Speedway Classic, featuring the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds, is the first MLB National or American League game to be played in the state of Tennessee.
After a more than two-hour weather delay from the scheduled start time of 7 p.m., the game started and was suspended with one out in the bottom of the first inning. The Reds hold a 1-0 lead.
All tickets purchased for Saturday’s game will be honored Sunday. Spectator parking lots will open at 8 a.m. Spectator gates open at 10 a.m. Fans will be allowed to bring food and soft drinks to the game in a 16x16x8 clear bag. The Fan Zone will be closed.
