The 2025 Winter Events at Bristol Motor Speedway will kick into high gear on Thursday, November 20th, as the Appalachian Highlands region’s best and longest-running Ice Skating Rink will open its doors for the 2025 season at 4 p.m.
The Tri-Cities Airport Ice Rink presented by Stateline Services, located at BMS Entrance 1 near the ‘It’s Bristol Baby!’ monument, is the perfect location for the entire family to enjoy some holiday fun. The rink will be open most nights through Sunday, January 11.
Admission to the Tri-Cities Airport Ice Rink presented by Stateline Services is $12 per skater Monday-Thursday, and $15 per skater Friday-Sunday. The admission price includes rental skates. The Ice Rink will be closed on Mondays from Nov. 24-Dec. 15. Hours of operation vary from day to day, so guests should review the schedule in advance by visiting the BMS website.
The Tri-Cities Airport Ice Rink presented by Stateline Services is a popular attraction at the 29th annual Food City Speedway In Lights powered by TVA, a holiday light spectacular that serves as one of the primary annual fundraisers for the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities.
Long hailed as the premier holiday light show in the Appalachian Highlands region, The Food City Speedway in Lights powered by TVA spreads across a five-mile route illuminated by more than 4 million lights among 300 displays, including new displays in the Santa’s Beach Party collection. A trip through the light show sends guests alongside historic Bristol Dragway and all throughout the property, including a lap around the iconic Bristol Motor Speedway half-mile oval.
The Food City Speedway in Lights has added new dynamic pricing for 2025, where depending on the night of the week and time of the visit, prices for cars will range between $25-35. Guests are encouraged to check the Food City Speedway In Lights webpage for specific pricing for each night. Visitors should also be aware of several coupons and discounts available Sunday-Thursdays. For larger groups, vans are $60 and buses are $150. Visitors can take advantage of The Fast Lane presented by Tele-Optics, a speedy $75 option which provides a shorter wait time on select nights when traffic lines get long.
